Southern Sudan Refugee Community in Nakuru

The South Sudanese Refugees Community Project involves teaching Transcendental Meditation to South Sudanese who have taken refuge in the city of Nakuru, Kenya.

This project started in 2015 and, so far, 250, the majority of whom are schoolchildren, have learnt Transcendental Meditation.

However, not all are in Nakuru still since economic hardship has seen some relocate to refugee camps in Northern Kenya, while others have returned to South Sudan.
