Ten schools in Nepal – with enrolment of over 8000 – are introducing Consciousness-Based Education into their curricula. These includes a Military High School and a Government High School.
Over 4,000 of these students are practising Transcendental Meditation and over 1,000 students and faculty are enrolled in advanced programmes.
Within the first few months of implementing the programme, schools reported decreased accidents in the playground, improved academic performance, and more silence in the school buildings.
